Step 1: Learn More

The commitments in the Workplace Inclusion Charter change each year.

 

Step 2: Sign the Declaration

Once you have confirmed the commitment of your team, you’re ready to get started with the Workplace Inclusion Charter. Your next step is to sign the Declaration of Commitment to Workplace Inclusion.

Download the Declaration

  • This Declaration should be signed by:

    1. A representative of your Executive Team or Senior Leadership, and;

    2. A Human Resources leader.

  • Email your signed Declaration to bvip@banff.ca. (Optional: You may also attach your 2023 WIC Signatory Checklist to let us know which commitments your organization will be working on this year.)

 

Step 3: Get Started

  • To be recognized as a Workplace Inclusion Champion, all signatories undertake 5 required actions (see checklist for details), as well as additional commitments for Silver- and Gold-level recognition.

    • Bronze-level Champions: Fulfill 5 required commitments (5 total).

    • Silver-level Champions: Fulfill an additional 5 commitments (10 total).

    • Gold-level Champions: Fulfill an addition 8 commitments (13 total).

  • We will support you on your journey with regular check-in meetings, resources, and training opportunities.

  • Complete at your selected commitments by December 31, 2023 and your business will be recognized as a Gold, Silver, or Bronze Workplace Inclusion Champion.
